Next step is to arrange B3 messages for specific actions.
--MESSAGES----------------------------------------

banned_by : %s^7 was banned by %s^7 %s
banned : %s^7 was banned %s

temp_banned : %s^7 was temp banned for %s^7 %s
unbanned_by : %s^7 was un-banned by %s^7 %s
unbanned : %s^7 was un-banned %s
I personally do not change the default messages. You can do so unless you want to custumise everything. To keep the default values, I press enter as usual.
Plugin Config Path
Plugin config path is the path to the config folder for our external plugins.
--PLUGIN CONFIG PATH-----------------------------
external_dir [@b3/extplugins] :
I will use the default value.
Installing Builtin Plugins
> admin plugin is arbitrairy.
config [@conf/plugin_admin.xml]:/home/freelander/games/cod4/b3/conf/plugin_admin.xml
As we’ll install the config to our game specific folder I type the full path to my new conf folder as follows:
“/home/freelander/games/cod4/b3/conf/plugin_admin.xml”
Install censor plugin? (yes/no) [yes]: yes
After that, the installer will ask you to install each built in plugin or not. I’ll set up all the plugins so I’ll press enter to confirm.
config [@conf/plugin_censor.xml]:/home/freelander/games/cod4/b3/conf/plugin_censor.xml
Installer’s next question will be the destination to the configuration folder. That’s the same path as in the admin plugin : /home/freelander/games/cod4/b3/conf/plugin_censor.xml
Confirm and provide the path information for each plugin.
That’s it! You’ve finished installing and configuring BigBrotherBot!
Another Alternative B3 Online Config Tool
If you find this a little complicated you can also use the online b3 config file generator I made.
Now move to your core b3 folder, if you’re not alreadye there and issue the following command:
# cd /home/freelander/b3
# ./b3_run.py /home/freelander/games/cod4/b3/conf/b3.xml
If all went well, your bot should start. Now start your game, connect to your server and type the following in chat to be a Super Admin:
!iamgod
If you encounter a problem check your b3.log to understand the problem. If you can’t solve it, go to BigBrotherBot Support Forums and explain the problem in detail (your game, server, bot version, b3.xml and b3.log).

Do you have a fix for the restart problem ? When you type !restart it messed up… This only happens on debian based OSes… In centos it works perfect…

Please check http://forums.bigbrotherbot.net where you can ask for help and also can find a list of 3rd party B3 providers you can buy the service from. It’s faster and better to get support there, thanks!
